At LimeHoodie Store, we strive to offer a secure and convenient shopping experience by accepting a variety of payment options. Please note that payment must be made in full before shipment. Our products are often personalized and hand-crafted based on your specific design and request, and production begins once your payment is confirmed.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards, as well as several widely recognized payment platforms.

*Note: Currently, the Buy Now Pay Later transaction is only available in the US. We are working diligently to extend this payment method to European customers soon. Payment options through Affirm are subject to eligibility and are provided by lending partners (refer to affirm.com/lenders for detailed information). Loans for CA residents by Affirm Loan Services, LLC comply with the California Finance Lenders Law license.

2. Order and Billing Requirements

Billing Address Requirement

For your security and to ensure smooth online transactions, all online transactions must be linked to a valid billing address. Please ensure that the billing address you provide during your purchase matches the details registered with your credit card or prepaid card issuer.

Payment Processing

When you place your order, we perform a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to complete the transaction. Your card will be charged once this authorization is approved. The funds received are initially treated as a deposit for the value of the goods you wish to purchase. After your order is dispatched and you receive a confirmation email, the amount paid is considered payment for the goods listed.

To make a payment, simply click on the “Proceed To Checkout” or “PayPal Checkout” buttons on our website. You will be redirected to the chosen payment-processing website (like PayPal), where you can pay with your credit card or through your PayPal account. If the payment is processed by PayPal, the transaction may appear on your credit card statement as PayPal.

Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology. Rest assured, your credit card information is not processed through or stored on limehoodie.com servers, as all payment processing is securely handled by third-party payment gateways:

• Payment via PayPal is processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.
• Payment via Stripe is processed by Stripe, 354 Oyster Point Blvd South San Francisco, CA 94080 United States.

Fraud Prevention and Geolocalization

During the order process, a fraud prevention check is conducted via our payment gateway, Stripe. This check involves using your IP address to carry out a geolocalization and compare your data with previous experience. The aim is to prevent any abuse of your chosen payment method by third parties and to protect us from payment defaults. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1) Sentence 1(f) GDPR.

If an order cannot be placed with the selected payment method due to automated decision-making, you have the right to challenge this decision (the refusal of a certain payment method) and have the decision reviewed by a person. We recommend checking what you have entered again during the order process, as the rejection may be due to a typing error.

Address Accuracy and Third Parties

We use Google Maps Autocomplete, a service of Google LLC, during the ordering process. This service helps automatically complete your address, avoiding delivery errors. Google may conduct geolocalization using your IP address.

In the course of order processing, we pass on personal data to our third-party production companies and shipping companies within our group. For trackable parcels, we share your order and address data with Printify Inc to facilitate tracking and inform you about delivery deviations or delays.

Data Retention

Due to commercial and tax regulations, we are obliged to securely store your order, address, and payment data for a period of ten years. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6(1) Sentences 1(b) and (f) GDPR.

Feedback and Reviews

After you place an order, we may process your order and address data to send you a personalized email asking you to rate our products, using feedback software such as Trustpilot and Google Customer Reviews. This is done to improve our services and adapt them to customer wishes. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1) Sentence 1(f) GDPR. You can object to this use of your data at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email.

4. Refunds

Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment (either PayPal or your credit/debit card).

5. Policy Agreement
